The IMA Institute
The IMA-Institute, supported by all 37 provider members of the Interim Management Association, is focussed on differentiating career interim managers from those who, particularly in the current economic climate, may simply be passing through.

This one-day workshop provides an excellent, objective opportunity for delegates; enabling them to make an informed decision on whether Interim Management is right for them and, if so, how to go about making it a reality in the shortest time and most cost effective way. It is also an excellent way for practising interims to learn how to expand their marketability.
It includes benchmarking skills against the Industry standard and expectations, examining the core competencies highly regarded in top candidates and, critically, the route to engagement with leading, accredited, service providers. It also covers information on how to set you up in business, including appropriate legislation, and the risks and potential rewards of self-employment in the Interim world.

Interim Management Dining Club (IMDC)
The Interim Management Dining Club exists so that interim providers and interim managers can meet and share their experiences in an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere, far away from the normal work place.
Membership of the club is open to interim managers and interim providers. There is a one-off joining fee of £50.00 (+VAT), and an annual subscription of £75.00 (+VAT). The IMDC meets five times a year at Armoury House in the City of London.

IR35 Tax Reforms – From 6th April 2000
Since 6th April 2000 limited company contractors providing personal services have been required to pay to the Inland Revenue PAYE tax and National Insurance Contributions on income received from “relevant” engagements.
We strongly recommend Interim Managers to contact their own professional advisers about how IR35 may affect them.
